With experience in building systems and driving growth for one of Africa’s leading fashion brands, she is committed to strengthening the continent’s fashion ecosystem and fostering collaboration, equity, and long-term growth.

CARLYN FRITTELLI DAVIES

Carlyn is a natural resources lawyer with 16 years’ experience at ENS, specialising in environmental and mining law. Passionate about sustainability in fashion, she has supported local designers through legal initiatives, serves on the Sealand Gear Sustainability Committee, and is a judge for the AllFashion Sourcing Young Designer Award. She also volunteers with Fashion Revolution South Africa and runs @consciouscarlyn, an Instagram platform promoting African brands and sustainable practices.

GAVIN RAJAH

G‌avin Rajah is a South African designer, cultural strategist, and social activist whose work has been showcased globally. Founder of Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Durban Fashion Weeks, as well as Futurewear, he has championed emerging designers, sustainability, and local manufacturing. A UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and Harvard Advisory Board member, he also leads The Whitelight Movement NPC, using creativity to empower vulnerable communities.

THEBE MAGUGU

Thebe Magugu is an award-winning South African designer and founder of his namesake label, celebrated for blending heritage, culture, and contemporary design. He became the first African to win the LVMH Prize in 2019 and has collaborated with leading global brands while remaining deeply rooted in local storytelling and craftsmanship. Through his work, he champions African identity on international platforms and is committed to building sustainable pathways for future generations of designers.
